Its light, uniform tones are only occasionally disrupted by the appearance of small fossils that provide this natural stonework with its singularity. Thanks to its inherent characteristics, Shell Reef is a great option for both indoor and outdoor façades and floorings.

Finishes of the Shell Reef

The Shell Reef stands out for its versatility.

This can adapt its natural appearance in function of the project requirements, which is a great advantage for architects and designers. Pulycort has the following finishes available:

RAW: on this occasion, the surface of the Marbella limestone is presented to the cut, without any polishing and therefore, no shine.

POLISHED: through polishing, we achieve that the limestone has a greater luminosity and brightness.

HONED: this type of finish achieves a matte surface similar to the raw finish, except that in this case, the stone is subject to a first layer of polishing to remove saw marks. I.e., it’s the previous step before the last stage of polishing.

BRUSHED: this type of finish aims to provide the natural stone with a slightly coarse aspect lacking any shine, in order to reflect the passage of time upon the material.

BUSH HAMMERD: on the other hand, through the bushhammered limestone we achieve a uniform surface of the rugged character. This roughness gives the natural stone a greater grip, and therefore the possibility of being used in outdoor areas.

SANDBLASTED: the limestone is presented in a less coarse finish than that achieved by bush hammering so that the pits produced when treating the stone are less profound.
