Marengo Grey marble
Grey Marengo marble conveys an unusual sense of balance allowing it to create elegant, truly stunning environments.
Thanks to its generosity, this type of grey marble is ideal to highlight other type of materials in brighter tones. A feature that is highly appreciated by architects looking to create a sense of harmony in certain areas.
In addition to its darker tones, Grey Marengo is a greatly resistant type of natural stonework, making it ideal for use in outdoor flooring for high footfall areas, such as roads or squares.
When polished, its natural beauty is suddenly unleashed, thereby enhancing its attractiveness even further.
Marengo Grey marble finishes
One of the features that defines Grey Marengo marble is its ability to adapt its aspect to the needs of each project.
At Pulycort you may find the following finishes:
Raw: Marble is supplied in its sawn, dull finish.
Polished: In this case, the natural stonework will achieve further glossiness and shine.
Fine honed: Marble surfaces are supplied with a matt aspect.
Antiqued: Slightly rugged, dull aspect to reflect the passage of time upon the material.
Bush hammered: Uniform coarse aspect, providing further grip.
Sand blasted: A less coarse appearance than with the bush hammering finish.
Split faced: Provides marble with a rustic look that is ideal for the outdoors.
Chiselled: Consists of carving the natural stone’s surface.
Grey Marengo may be used for a wide range of applications, most notably as a flooring and indoors or outdoors cladding material.
In addition to Grey Marengo elements (stairways, worktops and skirting boards etc.), Pulycort can also supply the standard forms of slab and tiles, such as 60 x 60, 60 x 30 or 60 x 40 cm.
