Carrara marble is one of the most appreciated building materials by architects and interior designers alike. So what is its secret? The extraordinary beauty of this attractive white marble never fails to capture the observer.
Carrara marble is able to enhance any room by providing it with both solemnity and grandeur.
With a uniform aspect and greyish veins Carrara marble is noted for being a resistant natural stonework, suitable for indoor applications as both a cladding and flooring material.
Carrara marble finishes
White Carrara marble has the ability to adapt its natural aspect according to the needs of each project.
In addition to the most notable polished finish, at Pulycort you may also find the following finishes.
Raw: Marble is supplied in its sawn, dull finish.
Polished: This finish provides marble with further glossiness and shine, thus enhancing its beauty.
Fine honed: White marble surfaces are supplied with a matt aspect.
Antiqued: Slightly rugged, dull aspect to reflect the passage of time upon the material.
Bush hammered: Uniform coarse aspect, providing further grip.
Sand blasted: A less coarse appearance than with the bush hammering finish.
Split faced: Provides marble with a rustic look that is ideal for the outdoors.
Chiselled: Consists of carving the natural stone’s surface.
