Travertine
Travertine is a sedimentary rock that has been used since time immemorial and has been able to adapt to the different styles that have emerged over the years.
Its multifaceted appearance is determined by the wide range of existing colours, as well as by the network of veins that run along its surface. Another characteristic of travertine that defines it are the small cavities that appear on its surface, which give it singularity and personality.
TYPES OF TRAVERTINE
Currently, Pulycort manufactures two types of travertine: Classic Travertine and White Travertine.
ADVANTAGES OF TRAVERTINE
The advantages that travertine offers over other materials are the following:
Resistance: Travertine marble is a resistant material in many aspects, including changes in temperature, humidity and foot traffic.
Unique material: Travertine has an elegant and attractive appearance, characteristics that make it a unique and differentiating material.
Wide variety of colours: Travertine has a wide variety of tones, ranging from beige, white, grey, brown or cream.
Diverse applications: The characteristics of travertine allow it to be used in any environment, both outdoors and indoors.
Non-slip surface: Finishes such as bush-hammered or sandblasted give travertine a better grip and therefore make it a non-slip material. This quality makes it suitable for exteriors and swimming pools.
APPLICATIONS
Travertine is a very versatile material, which is why we can make use of it in floors, walls, countertops, sinks, etc.
